Mining Dynamics Discovery establishes a single catalogue for searching different domain datasets within an organization. Mining Dynamics Discovery exposes data and files stored in disparate systems allowing artefacts and data to be found and retrieved quickly. Users can search for and find files in multiple data stores (for example, Mining Dynamics Storage, acQuire, and ArcSDE) from a single point.

Users view catalogued 2D objects in a web browser. The objects are interactive allowing users to click on points, such as the drill holes, to display additional data harvested from the originating system, or links to a file in Mining Dynamics Storage (for example, to show a photograph of the core sample taken from the drill hole).
